BRACK: Gwinnett, Metro Atlanta, finally moving toward key transit vote

APRIL 20, 2018  |  Finally, at long last, people throughout the area seem to be realizing that something must be done about the number one problem in Metro Atlanta: public transit.

We see this new concern in Gwinnett County, in Metro Atlanta, and most interestingly, at the Georgia General Assembly. Their action this year seems to open the possibility that significant transit action can start soon.

ANOTHER VIEW: Rare time for transit decision

By George Wilson | A county stands and falls on the decisions and vision of her leaders. All too rarely, a county has an opportunity to decide an issue that will set its future course for generations to come. Such is bringing of rail to Gwinnett County. Now is the time to act and show some bold leadership and not be bureaucratic care takers of the status quo.
