The Rowen Foundation is partnering with Center for Global Health Innovation and Georgia Research Alliance to host the Convergence Summit: AgTech Innovation at the Intersections, which is devoted to collaboration among key industry sectors and the many interwoven priorities that bind them together—such as workforce, research and innovation—on Thursday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cisco Auditorium at Georgia Gwinnett College.

NEWS BRIEFS: Rowen’s groundbreaking ceremony will be 2 p.m. Friday

The Rowen Foundation will officially break ground on Rowen, the 2,000-acre knowledge community in eastern Gwinnett County, on Dec. 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. But instead of turning over more dirt, Governor Brian Kemp and Gwinnett Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson and special guests will plant the first of what will eventually be thousands of new trees on site.

NEWS BRIEFS: Rowen’s Thought Leadership Series starts March 31

Georgia’s newest knowledge community is teaming up with the state’s historical leader in agricultural innovation to discuss the prospects of Georgia’s largest industry.

On March 31 at 11 a.m.,  leaders in agriculture, technology and innovation, will gather at the University of Georgia’s new Delta Innovation Hub for the “Future of Agriculture,” a one hour event kicking off the Rowen Foundation’s 2022 Thought Leadership Series.

The Rowen Foundation announced today the addition of three people to its board of directors. They are Georgia Gwinnett College President Dr. Jann L. Joseph; University of Georgia Provost Dr. S. Jack Hu; and Georgia Institute of Technology Vice President of Institute Relations Bert Reeves.
