ANOTHER VIEW: Draconian weapons and abortion laws need changing

By Raleigh Perry |  The draconian laws that many states have passed on anti-abortion and free access to guns has to be changed.  What I foresee is that the various state legislatures’ political balance will change considerably.  The same will probably occur in the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate.

ANOTHER VIEW: Weapons do not solve problems. They cause them.

By Raleigh Perry |  I guess I am a bit old-fashioned.  I grew up listening to the Lone Ranger on the radio and then when we got television, we switched to seeing the Masked Man on the tube.  The same scenario is true for Gene Autry, Roy Rogers and a mass of other kids shows.  Guns were not so much violent weapons in those days.

ANOTHER VIEW: Ready to buy an EV?  There are some consequences

By Raleigh Perry  |  People who buy battery-powered automobiles do so because it is good for the environment.  Clean power, no exhaust emissions! Gosh that is wonderful! Yet where does their power really come from? Since we live in Georgia, let us talk about the Georgia origins of the electricity that powers these cars.  Basically speaking, Georgia gets its electricity from several different sources including nuclear, hydroelectric and steam plants.

ANOTHER VIEW: With clowns in the House, look for a “Do-nothing Congress”

By Raleigh Perry  |  There is an article in a current news source that questions Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene and why she is saying what she is saying.  It goes into why she would laugh and that others should laugh at what she says.  She has spent almost 3 1/4 years in Congress and has accomplished nothing at all. She will live out the rest of this term and accomplish nothing.

ANOTHER VIEW: Two simple lessons taught this lesson in salesmanship

By Raleigh Perry  |  In spite of all of what I learned in school and college, I spent my whole working life selling. Ninety percent of selling is personality. The other ten is product knowledge. You are born into selling, you cannot get it with book learning.
