By Lee Tucker | The Twin Lakes multi-use project, totaling approximately 39 acres, can be the catalyst for the activation of an underutilized area of the City of Peachtree Corners. The project will amenitize existing infrastructure to stimulate the creation of a vibrant community with a strong sense of place and unique recreational amenities.

FOCUS: Christian singles group meets regularly in Peachtree Corners

By Louis Detweiler | Alone, in the middle of a church service in 2004, Sally Knapp recounted, “I was feeling out of place with all the couples and I was thinking other singles must be feeling the same way.” A member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Sally presented the idea of Christian Directed Singles to the pastor and the group officially opened within the church and to the community. The church is located at 5575 Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners.

BRACK: New indoor recreational park to open in Peachtree Corners

By Elliott Brack | A new $6.5 million recreational entertainment center is coming to the former BJ’s Warehouse location at Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Peachtree Corners with an anticipated opening of around July 1. It will be called Slingshot Entertainment, with electric Go-Kart race courses for both children and adults. There will also be 14 lanes for bowling, Ninja adult and kids obstacle courses, and a full service 100+ seat restaurant and bar in the 130,000 square foot building. In addition, there will be an arcade area, plus conference rooms and party space.
