Gwinnett Commissioners this week adopted the 2024 millage rate at 6.95 mills for the general fund, which is no change from the 2023 rate.

NEWS BRIEFS: Gwinnett keeps same tax millage rate as in 2022

Gwinnett County will operate under the same general fund millage rate as last year, 6.95 mills. Before holding a vote, county commissioners took public comments at three public hearings and via an online comment form.

NEWS BRIEFS: New parking deck opens in downtown Sugar Hill

Sugar Hill residents and visitors will have more places to park now with the opening of the new parking deck in Downtown Sugar Hill. The deck is jointly owned by Sugar Hill’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and Solis Sugar Hill, an apartment facility.  Of the 650 parking spaces, 250 are owned by the DDA and 300 spaces are for Solis Sugar Hill.

The Gwinnett Board of Commissioners have adopted the same general fund millage rate as last year, 6.95 mills.  Prior to the vote, the Board held three public hearings and accepted comments through the County’s website.
