With economic uncertainty and layoffs in a number of sectors, many people want to know how much personal cash they should have on hand. While a general rule of thumb is to have enough cash to cover expenses for about six months, accounting and finance expert Dr. S. Cathy McCrary says a number of factors can impact the amount of cash that one should have available.
NEWS BRIEFS: Community recycling will be Feb. 11 at Gwinnett Fairgrounds
A community recycling event will be held on Saturday, February 11 at Gwinnett County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., hosted by Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful (GC&B) and its partner, the Department of Water Resources. The event will provide a FREE opportunity for its neighbors throughout the county to drop off household hazardous waste for recycling or proper disposal.
