BRACK: Like before, President Trump introduces the fear card

BRACK: Like before, President Trump introduces the fear card

By Elliott Brack |  You could almost see it coming. Desperate to retain the presidency, now Donald Trump has introduced the Fear Card in the 2020 race. Shades of Richard Nixon!

One also wonders if he is influencing enough of the many terrorist groups for them to start agitating so that they can deliberately clash with protesters, to then allow President Trump to “send in the troops,” making him appear as the law-and-order candidate.

Norman Rockwell’s depiction of "Freedom from Fear."

BRACK: Freedom from fear is one of our basic rights in the USA

By Elliott Braci  | It was the way that President Trump went about trying to deport people that bugged me.  He made several announcements and pronouncements well in advance that on a certain Sunday there would be raids to “send ‘em back” to their home country.

This caused great fear among people, many of them working steadily for their citizenship, fearful that they somehow would be caught up in this rush to judgment, and be deported.

HOUSTON: Hot topic for women in the coming year is simply fear

By Debra Houston | I entered the crowded waiting room for a routine exam in early December and found ladies in pink hospital gowns with their noses buried in magazines or otherwise staring into cellphones. Similarly attired, I sat down and asked, “Are they running behind?”
