BRACK: Here’s why Edward Stack of New York is my hero

By Elliott Brack  |  Though I had never heard of Edward Stack before, he’s a hero of mine. Mr. Stack died recently at age 88 in New York. He had served for 60 years in leadership roles of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, ending as president and chairman. And he’s my hero because he’s the person who is responsible for keeping Pete Rose out of the Hall of Fame because of his gambling addiction.
