BRACK: Unexpected events can gladden you, and cause you to pause

By Elliott Brack  |  While big events continue to dominate the news cycle in our daily lives, all too often we overlook insignificant happenings that can cheer us, or make us stop and think. The phrase that comes to mind is that we all do not stop “to smell the roses.” We came across two entirely different examples this week that caused us pause.
