BRACK: Gwinnett could get Waffle House treatment in redistricting

By Elliott Brack | Here’s a prediction. After Georgia’s Republican-dominated legislative reapportionment committee gets done with its work this year, Gwinnett is going to get “scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, topped, diced, peppered and capped.”

BRACK: An open letter to  Sen. Renee Unterman

By Elliott Brack | FEB. 22, 2019  — Now, Renee. Don’t run for the Seventh District seat in Congress.

Gwinnett County, Buford, and the state need you in the Georgia Senate, where you will remain much more effective than you would as a freshman representative in the House of Representatives in Washington.

McBath

BRACK: McBath will do well; Return of quotes and Snellville relatives

By Elliott Brack | DEC. 4, 2018  |  Hurrah for Lucy McBath of Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District! We predict she’ll do well in the Congress.

Being a new Congressperson cannot be easy. After all, there’s a tremendous amount of difference between being a candidate for Congress, and then of about dealing with constituents from afar, about living in Washington, and maneuvering around all this morass.

BRACK: Congress is sole judge of who should be seated in both houses

By Elliott Brack | The hullabaloo over voter fraud all across the country, we suspect, is much ado about not much. Yet here in Georgia, we’ve heard of some who say they were, in one way or another, blocked from voting. Most election officials are upright citizens, and wouldn’t stand for it if they suspected fraud.
