FOCUS: Expensive Plant Vogtle should never have been built

By Patty Durand  |  On July 31,  Georgia Power’s Plant Vogtle’s Unit 3 entered commercial operation after 14 years of construction, and Unit 4 is expected to be completed no later than March of 2024. Plant Vogtle is the only nuclear power plant under construction in the United States.

Georgia Gwinnett College’s (GGC) outstanding faculty and staff were honored at its annual fall recognition ceremony recently. The college recognized six faculty and two staff members for embodying its four pillars of scholarship, leadership, service and creativity.
