NEWS BRIEFS: Andersonville site plans wreath ceremony Dec. 14

Andersonville National Historic Site invites you to remember and honor military veterans during this winter season by participating in our Wreaths Across America event. At noon on Saturday, December 14, a brief ceremony will be held in Andersonville National Cemetery to honor America’s armed forces.

BRACK: Donate through Salvation Army online red kettles

By Elliott Brack  |  “Ding-a-ling. Ding-a-ling.  Ding-a-ling.” These days you are hearing the Salvation Army bellringers time you get out of your car at many shopping arenas. These “ding-a-ling” sounds  remind you to drop a few coins or dollars into the red kettles to help support others through the Salvation Army at Christmas.
