Ukraine, the second largest country in Eastern Europe, gained its independence in 1991 and is more than 5,500 miles or a nearly 12-hour flight from Atlanta. While the possibility of a Russian invasion of the country seems like it might not impact the U.S., the ramifications of such a move could very likely be felt locally.

DULUTH, Ga. | Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for Art and Learning is now accepting entries for the sixth cycle of its prestigious visual arts prize. With a cash award of $50,000 and a solo exhibition for one talented Georgia artist, the Hudgens Prize is one of the largest monetary awards given to an individual artist in the nation. The purpose of the competition is to elevate and promote the arts and artists of Georgia, while providing a transformational opportunity for the winning artist.
FOCUS: Israeli company joins 5G Open Innovation Lab
By Louis Svehla | Curiosity Lab partner Brodmann17 has joined the 5G Open Innovation Lab (5GOILab) after several months of successful tests of its state-of-the-art Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology in Peachtree Corners. In June 2021 Israeli-based Brodmann17 added their technology to Curiosity Lab’s Level 3 autonomous test vehicle to further develop and prove its software-only perception technology for assisted driving in real world conditions.
FOCUS: Delegation seeks redistricting with fair process, fair maps

As members of the Gwinnett State House and Senate Delegations, our shared goal is to have a fair process to produce fair maps for the Gwinnett Board of Commissioners and Board of Education.
