BRACK: Here’s a way readers can help extend GwinnettForum’s reach

By Elliott Brack  | Remembering back to 1974, as I moved here to join Gwinnett Daily News, I wondered how in the world a newspaper would cover a county with 100,000 people. It seemed nigh impossible.

Yet the newspaper I joined, Gwinnett Daily News, was becoming a really excellent newspaper. You covered a county by developing a hard-working and innovative staff for news and advertising, and delivered the paper on time.

BRACK: Important elements to know about those new automotive key fobs

BRACK: Important elements to know about those new automotive key fobs

By Elliott Brackj | Many modern automobiles operate without what we have known previously as a “key.”  Instead, today’s new vehicles now have “keyless entry,” using a key fob which can automatically start the car simply by the push of a dashboard button, as long as you have the fob with you.

You never have to bother to get your key out of your pocket or purse.  It’s a new “benefit” in operating a modern car.

BRACK: Remembering some fascinating journeys in different modes

By Elliott Brack  | Any trip can be great fun. We’ve had some unusual ones.Years ago, a friend offered a trip—for two—on the Goodyear Blimp, in Atlanta for a promotion. BRACK: County getting another world-class site with new Buford High School

They come here to understand more about our high quality school system, and they come here to view Gwinnett’s top tourist attraction, the BAPS mandir in Lilburn.

By Elliott Brack  | It was one of the most perplexing turns of the recent Georgia General Assembly. Out of nowhere, the six member Gwinnett House Republican delegation, near the end of the session, issued a press release saying that they were amending legislation to limit Gwinnett County from voting on another transit plan before 2026…..eight years away.
