By Raleigh Perry  |  People who buy battery-powered automobiles do so because it is good for the environment.  Clean power, no exhaust emissions! Gosh that is wonderful! Yet where does their power really come from? Since we live in Georgia, let us talk about the Georgia origins of the electricity that powers these cars.  Basically speaking, Georgia gets its electricity from several different sources including nuclear, hydroelectric and steam plants.
