By Heather Loveridge | It all started with a PTA meeting. In the early 1980’s three concerned PTA mothers – Barb Lewis, Joanne Culvern, and Sharry Hague – saw firsthand the homelessness crisis for children in Gwinnett. Rather than waiting for someone else to tackle this issue, these moms single handedly raised $2.5 million to support children facing homelessness in their area.

By Elliott Brack | Something’s going on at the Post Office that belies understanding. The bad part is that postal officials haven’t responded to numerous requests for information on this. That looks bad. It’s something that is going on nationwide. It’s a scam involving a person writing a check routinely and dropping the check into the mail to pay a bill. Somehow, scammers find a way to intercept the check.
